I read many reviews on several smart locks before I purchased this one. It was easy to install and works PERFECTLY as advertised. Provides great control for all your needs... Got the family on fingerprints, access codes have been given to providers, one-timers, friends for favors... I certainly have nothing but great things to say about this lock. GET IT... you will not regret it!!! App is easy to use, easy to register, has worked flawlessly so far.

I am pleased with everything about this lock. From its clean design to multiple unlocking options, it is an absolute must for any home security system. I won’t say it’s a simple setup, although many reviews have said it to be. It’s only because my OCD causes me to spend a little extra time double & triple checking everything. I like the options of digital passcode(static or random mode), multiple fingerprint, physical key & in app. remote (un)locking. I personally have not had any issues since installing, although my children have said they’ve experienced excessive beeping while attempting to lock/unlock on a couple of occasions at which time I was able to unlock remotely while out of town. I found no issue through the app log or the physical lock itself when checked. I also like the ability to set a self lock time once the door is closed. Mine is set for 30 sec. If you happen to have your door open longer than set time it’ll automatically lock as soon as it’s closed.

Using this on a second home in a remote area. Was always an issue letting service people in and out of the home. Was waiting for a lock that has internet connectivity to remotely lock and unlock the door. Having a fingerprint reader and assignable codes are a bonus. The ability to generate temp codes are also excellent and can be used for service or renters if needed. The installation was straight forward and the video instruction link was helpful. There was a lack of detail on how to run the wire for the door magnet. It did not show where to run the wire out of the housing but after some trial and error I found a slot on the side of the unit. It was a direct replacement for the old deadbolt. My door has decent weather-stripping and it normally needs a push to turn the old lock. I had to move the door jam plate slightly and do a little drilling so this would lock and unlock without someone pushing in on the door. It ended up working well with some slight modification. Getting it connected to the included Wi-Fi gateway was easy as well.

The random order code is really clever for keeping people from picking up your code from fingerprints or watching you enter it. Someone can literally watch you enter your code and still not know what it is. Although, I have to admit, I've only used it a couple of times when we first got it since the fingerprint reader works so well.
Installation wasn't anymore difficult that installing any other deadlock. The electronic instructions were really nice and the 'programming' was simple.
With the door sensor, I've never had it try to lock the door when open. So no dings on the door trim. The motor hums when electronically locking the door. So, if silence is necessary, move on. It's loud enough to hear across an open concept house but not through doors or walls in other rooms. It's also not high pitched or annoying (to me). I actually like that I can hear when the door's being unlocked.

Installation was fast. Everything fit perfectly. Took me 20 minutes working alone to remove the old deadbolt and install this one.

For very remote phone control, the lock includes a small WIFI receiver that needs to be plugged in to an outlet that should be at most 5-8 feet from the door. Also your wifi modem/router or wifi extender should be within 10 feet from that receiver as well. To ensure this, I placed my WIFI extender and the Lockly wifi receiver on the same outlet next to the door. No problems with transmission. You can use the lock without the wifi receiver, as it can connect by bluetooth to your phone, but you will lose monitoring when you're not close to the lock if you do so, and some functionality.

FUNCTIONALITY----
This lock has multiple access methods: key, pin, fingerprint, phone.
The pin on this lock must be 6-8 digits. You can set the # positions on the pad to change positions every time, or opt to leave them in the same position. Randomization is to deter lookie loos who might see your pattern when entering the pin. You can add guest accounts with their own pins, and set expiration dates.

The fingerprint sensor works very well for me. When setting up it asks for 6 positions, then you can opt to add 6 more to make it more clear. I believe it stores some 100+ fingerprints for multiple users. For instance, I can set up all 5 fingers for myself, and others. The fingerprint reading and unlock response is very fast.
